Interplay in a story

Last night for whatever reason I was up late and I was thinking about what I am calling 'Interplays'. I am calling it that until I discover what the idea is commonly called. It's perhaps similar to Derrida's ideas on opposites and other structures. I only studied those ideas briefly and I don't have time for a deep dive right now. Essentially, there will be opposites. I've decided to structure the first batch of stories to help aid in the design of the story. One story can be decency overcoming indecency in a situation. That would make for a simple structure. A simple structure is like using sepia in the imagery.
