So it begins!

Updated: Aug 25, 2023

Procrastination has always been my bastile of productivity.

I am always more productive when I have a self-imposed deadline. The worst part is the self-loathing combined with a lack of appreciation for just how much work I've done. When I first decided to do NaNoWriMo, I wanted to write a novel. I nearly completed it too, actually a couple of tries of practically completing them. This year I have decided that if I complete NaNo it will be a part of a larger effort. There will be a September writing session. An October one. So too November, you get the idea. All this while I complete my other work.

My copywriting work hasn't quite materialized yet. I am hung up on the portfolio. The scope of my article on the influence of Aristotle is too grandiose. One could write an entire book about his influence let alone the failings of Neo-Aristoteleans to claim him and change him.

You don't have to call yourself a Neo-Aristotelean you simply have to say you owe a great debt to his work or something similar and publish and defend your own. It is nice to see a movement of people who supposedly believe A is A. That we build abstractions from concretes and that biology is teleological, and I am not sure this movement is it.
